Collected only in aggregate
What organisations, schools and venues see from us is totals: how many readers opened a section, how many listings were tapped, how many inquiries were sent. No report we give anyone outside Going Global contains an individual reader’s history.
Never collected
- Precise location. The guide hands you to your device’s own maps app and never asks for your position.
- Contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, camera, health or financial data.
- Advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other apps or websites and we do not use the app for targeted advertising.
- Anything used to train an artificial-intelligence model.
Sharing
Service providers acting for us (hosting, sign-in codes, notifications, crash reporting); the organisation that provides your access (aggregate usage and seat status only); a school or venue when you press its inquiry button. Never sold, never shared with data brokers.
Deletion
In the app: Account → Delete my account. On the web: Delete your account. Deletion removes your account and everything linked to it within thirty days.
Security practices
Data is encrypted in transit; accounts use one-time sign-in codes; access is restricted to the people who need it. Full detail in the Privacy policy.
